Brachiopods of the Bois Blanc Formation in New York
. Published in 1975, this is a scarce and important work, seldom seen or offered on Ebay. This publication consists of 27 pages of text, plus 8 plates of photos bound into the book.
The fossils described in the book comprise 25 species, one representing a new species and genera. This work is an extremely important reference as it documents the varieties within this thin and sparsely exposed Devonian section, and thus fills a significant gap. The plates within the book contain photos of scores of specimens and their important identifying features. This would serve as an excellent reference for the serious collector and a significant addition to any library on brachiopods, or of New York geology. Many of the fossils were silicified and very well preserved. It is a scarce item.
