    This is a scarce ca. 1890s vintage 17 page hardback book entitled Model Of A Locomotive
    with a historical sketch and brief description of the working parts by Christoph Volkert.
    Illustrated and edited by H.H.P.Powles Assoc meme Inst.C.E. Memb.Inst.Mech.Eng. George Philip&Son London, 32 Fleet Street. E.C. Liverpool and it is printed in Germany and originally cost  four shillings&sixpence.
    On the back page it has an excellent picture of a locomotive with all of the moving parts etc numbered and by lifting up:
    A The Boiler part which has a flap of paper that lifts to reveal the boiler in detail and it then shows B: Frame&Wheels and finally C: The Engine so it directs the engine into different moving sections.
    Its overall measurements are 13" x 9.25"
