    Description

    1882 5 Lepta from Greece. The obverse shows a portrait of King George I, head facing left. Below the portrait is the date, 1882. The reverse shows an open wreath with the denomination inside. At the bottom center is the mint letter "A". The obverse shows mostly medium to dark brown color on the portrait and field immediately around it. Around the border can be seen subdued red luster still showing in the protected areas around some of the lettering. The reverse still shows mostly subdued red luster, with some mottled brown color over some areas, and a double streak of dark toning running from about the 11:00 o'clock position down toward the 5:00 o'clock position.
