The ddrum Hybrid 5 boasts modern shell sizes with a smart satin finish. We at Sweetwater especially liked the red hardware and badges - a nod to ddrum's trademark drum modules and triggers. The toms, kick, and snare in this shell pack are all made from 100% birch plies (6, 8, and 6, respectively). This gives the ddrum Hybrid 5 a cutting attack, a slightly scooped midrange, and dry overtones. The bass drum is full and responsive. And the snare and toms have a lively quality and quick decay that make them ideal for close-miking.
