  • Condition: This pin/pendant is in very good antique condition: some of the cameo features are worn and smooth, such as the details in the hair. Also, there was a long-ago repair on the back using lead solder (see close-up in 4th photo).

    Description

    This is an antique, hand-carved lava cameo pin/pendant in a frame with an Etruscan design. The small, oval pin/pendant is 1 inch high and 7/8 inch wide. It has a hinged bail, so it can be worn as a pendant, and the bail is hidden in the back when worn as a pin. The cameo is set in a lovely, gold-filled frame that features a twist borders and tiny rosettes. This pin/pendant is in very good antique condition: some of the cameo features are worn and smooth, such as the details in the hair.  Also, there was a long-ago repair on the back using lead solder (see close-up in 4th photo).
