For sale a beautiful professional Grenadil wood (african blackwood similar to : palisander and ebony) classical Flute in original leather box. Both the instrument and the box wearing the manufacturer's mark: Pliverics Miksa (1850 - 1937) famous instrument maker worked in Budapest Hungary. Possibly certain parts have Saxony origin and the instrument represents the same standard. His works now in many museums, such as Rijksmuseum Amsterdam, Hungarian Museum of Music etc...
The piece we offer was purchased in Budapest circa 1920's and played till 1980's in Győr Philharmonic orchestra. It has been refurbished few weeks ago. Working perfect, because of grenadil wood body it has own individual voice, different from full metal flutes. Instrument is little longer than usual, because it has an additional H foot, key or hole.
