    I purchased these loose unused molded glass cameo (30+) from a Paris Workshop closed in 1910. They are beautiful, rare & great. This is heavy thick glass foiled. To see the others click "See other items" at top right of this page.
    Classic example of early 1900s traditional French Pate de verre, the artist mixed crushed glass with enamels or paint to form a paste that was carefully placed in a mold, Displaying belle epoque opulence. Extreme amount of unblemished detail to Amethyst cameo. She looks like a countess. The background reflects back amethyst . The majority of time Cameo itself looks dark purple; but you can see purple when it catches the light. ...
