1 pc. ancient Kingdom of Dvaravati Mon  (Central Thailand and Hamsavati, Town of Mon , South Burma) silver coin , one unit 88 Ratti
Obv. Sankh Shell (Conch, the symbol of Vishnu, Brahma God) with three lines, inside circle with a row of pellets outside.
Rev. Temple of Srivatsa type, with Chamara (Yak tail fly whisk) inside and sun on bottom
Kingdom of Dvaravati existed between 3th to 11th Century AD and its territory included present day Thailand's central Chaopya basin, up to Lumpun on the north and spanning across the lower part of Burma, to the Bay of Bengal on west.  The center of the Kingdom is presumably situated in around present day U-thong area in Central Thailand.  This type of coins are found across from South Burma and Nakon Prathom province and Suphanburi, central Thailand.
