1910s Amethyst CAMEO (Previously a Buckle) Necklace Nouveau 2 3/4" Pot Metal &Brass w/ 8 Amethyst Stones, GORGEOUS Open Floral Filigree Added 1910 Glass small 7/8" Raised Cameo w/ Hair Comb, Curls. Jewelry. OOAK, Necklace has 6 lampwork amethyst & metallic brass swirls. 21 inch brass tone necklace has links large enough to adjust necklace smaller if you desire.
Here I added a gorgeous cameo from closed 1910 Paris Workshop to large 1910 amethyst 8 stones in Filigree Buckle. I removed & sanded bluckle bars from back. On back you can see original maker's solder & my brass reinforcements. Buckle is 100 years old.It has some fading of original gilting & irregularities. It is beautiful. See final pic.
. Amethyst cameo is more than 100 years old & is great condition unused. Foiled Cameo has full thick head of curls, Victorian hair comb, hairband, jewelry & hanging tendrils.
The setting is an awesome 32 layered work of art all be itself! I also added 21" lampwork beads, & brass tone chain. .
Pendant Measures 2 3/4" by 2", now raised 3/4".
