    Description

    1910 Jet Black Glass Cameo w/ Hair Comb in Curly Hair, Hanging Tendrils in French Silver Cut Steel 1900 Depose Dress Clip Cameo. Repousse w/ large rhinestones. OOAK Only 69.90
    Classic example of early 1900s traditional French Pate de verre, the artist mixed crushed glass.
    Focal Front is 1 1/4 " tall X 1" X 3/8".
    All I did here was permanently glue 1910 ANTIQUE unused black glass cameo into 1900 French silver cut steel ornate floral reposse w/ rhinestones dress clip (marked Depose= Registered on back). This cameo itself is only 5/8". Hence, the low price. It has a irregular background as setting does. The French also put flowers on sides & clip see 7th picture. These cameos are beautiful, rare & great. This heavy thick glass with a surface with a texture that is similar to fine sugar. To find them see my "1910 glass cameo" SECTION on left at:
